Document uninterrupted outdoor movements with the Sophia L. trail camera, which combines a 16-megapixel sensor and a specialized light-adaptive switch to record clear scenes regardless of ambient conditions.
The unit automatically transitions between daylight and infrared modes, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. A dedicated array of thirty-eight low-profile diodes casts an invisible glow after dark, ensuring animals remain undisturbed while the lens captures sharp footage. Still frames reach 16 megapixels, and video sequences encode at 1080p, delivering sufficient resolution for identifying individual markings or tracking group behavior.
Rapid reaction times are built into the passive infrared detector, activating the shutter within 0.7 seconds when motion crosses the 10-meter threshold. This swift response prevents blurred shots of quick-moving subjects. Field operators can navigate menus and preview stored files directly on the built-in 2.0-inch TFT monitor, streamlining configuration before deployment.
Designed for continuous field duty, the housing meets IP66 ingress protection standards and tolerates harsh climate swings from minus 20 degrees Celsius up to 70 degrees Celsius. Heavy rain, dust, and freezing temperatures will not compromise internal components. The shipping box contains the main tracking unit, a fabric mounting strap, and a printed instruction booklet for straightforward installation near trails or water sources.
